results of the Os were out yesterday! apparently our school didn't do too well this year, overall. the average was like, 14 points or something, so sad! but there were 80% distinctions, or something, for pure lit, so yay!

miss mara went back to SJI, so mrs selvam took over our SS periods, leaving her CME class with 3/6 and 3/10 in mrs fam's hands. and apparently there was a whole lot of drama, which included a girl crying, 3/10 walking out of the class, and extreme vulgarities exchanged between everyone. oooh, wow, so cool!

sec 1 tryouts today! only 11 of the 26 people who signed up, turned up -.- and they immediately sorted them out into either rifle or pistol people, based on their measurements! so weird lah! ANYWAY ANYWAY, we stepped into the shooting range today, and there were acsi boys! i was so damn happy lah! but we couldn't really check them out. anyway maybe they're all younger than me cos they all seemed to be in shorts ): and they left like, 20 minutes after that lah, so short! i hope acsi starts to train in bukit batok instead of yishun. like maybe their principal stopped funding the shooting team so much cos they're starting to suck or something. but i think they only came to bukit batok for try outs lah, so sad! anyway, a few of us didn't bring our clothes, but miss au didn't nag or scold us that much, surprisingly. but most of those who didn't bring their clothes had shorts on, so they went to train, leaving me and amanda behind. we had to go to the scoring room and do some weird stability exercises, which was damn boring!

i'm beginning to think that miss mara is really a good teacher now, hahaha! all the SJI boys say that she's the best, and there were 75% distinctions for combined humans in SJI, so quite good lah. but i still get bored during her class! urgh, i should start to pay attention! and i think the sec 2s are quite lucky to have her also. cos i think the hist teachers in IJ really suck, and miss mara will definitely be the best. yay, i think 3/2 has quite good teachers overall lah. like miss mara for hist elect & SS, and mr teh for AM & EM. the 3/4 girls will argue with me on this one, but come on lah, mr teh is one of the best maths teachers in s'pore. plus he wrote so many textbooks! and i guess nicole teo is quite a good lit teacher, but i think i need a change in lit teachers, then maybe i could like, learn new styles and improve, cos i suck at lit so much.

okay, enough brooding about school shit. djokovic beat federer! he's going to meet tsonga in the finals, who beat nadal. and then ivanovic is meeting sharapova in the womens' side, after sharapova beat henin in the QFs and jankovic in the SFs. like woah, so much surprises in this year's aussie open. now over to football (heeheehee), and arsenal got kicked out of the league cup after losing 5-1 to tottenham. tsk!
